Plymouth’s Place-based approach to school improvement began over three years ago with the city’s 19 secondary schools committing to working collaboratively to improve outcomes at KS4.  Plymouth was one of four national pilots which qualified for the DfE Trust and School Improvement Offer.  Over the course of the last three years, significant progress has been made in terms of improving Ofsted outcomes as well as increasing progress and attainment data, however, the improvement journey is from over!
