You will be aware that that reduction of teacher workload is a key priority for the Department of Education and in the proposed new Ofsted Inspection framework. A key tool in this priority is the Workload Toolkit which supports school leaders to examine current practices in their schools that may contribute to excessive workload and consider changes to minimise the workload on staff. The toolkit gives many case studies and practical resources to support schools.
As part of this priority St Peter’s Teaching School have been commissioned by the DfE to collaborate with schools in the South West to identify areas and move forward with projects to
