As part of our drive to increase capacity for school improvement in our region, the collaborative partnerships of Teaching Schools across Cornwall & IOS, Devon, Plymouth & Torbay are now recruiting for Local Leaders in Education.
The Recruitment window opens on the 15th February 2019 and closes on the 8th March 2019.
Local Leaders or Education (LLE)
What is an LLE?
Local Leaders of Education are at the heart of a school led system where schools take responsibility for improving pupil outcomes through school to school support. In the SW we are part of Team Southwest and are working collaboratively to support school improvement, it is important that all of our LLEs are aware of how their work will support the team and should be conversant with the document ‘Where next for the self-improving school system’ and the role of Team SW within both the national and regional picture.
LLEs are successful senior school leaders who work alongside other school leaders to drive forward improvements and build capacity to ensure that improvements can be sustained. The role of the LLE is to work outside their own school, providing support to another school leader and their school with the aim of school improvement.
