STEM learning has recently secured some regional innovation funding to be used to support science in Plymouth Strategy schools. The funding will be used to offer a heavily subsidised package of support that is bespoke, high quality and meets the needs of the schools within the Plymouth Strategy.
The proposed package includes two bespoke courses for teachers; The first course will focus on supporting disadvantaged learners and the second on supporting working memory to improve student recall and understanding. Both courses are currently being developed by our STEM Learning Education Team in response to your specific feedback in the google form needs analysis. Thank you to everyone that took the time to provide this feedback.
The package also includes bespoke remote CPD for science technicians, separate network meetings for science leaders, NQTs and RQTs and technicians and one to one mentoring for Heads of Science. We want to ensure all the components of the package suits your needs, not only regarding content, but also when and how we deliver the support. This webinar will provide an opportunity to express preferences and ask questions about the package of support.
