STEM INTERNATIONAL TEACHER RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME UPDATE

on . .

Following suggestions from the school-led networks, the STEM International Teacher Recruitment Programme delivery model for the academic year 2019/20 has developed. Moving forward, the four recruitment agencies, Prospero Group, Randstad, Point-to-Point Education and Quantum Scholars Ltd, will be appointing teachers throughout England. This is to allow schools more freedom of choice with providers and support candidates in choosing a region that works for them. We have now appointed a central acclimatisation provider (Quantum Scholars Ltd, led by Julia Brown) and expect them to be in touch with school-led networks to maintain the local presence in the regions to ensure candidates get the support they need. We will continue to be in touch with the networks regarding the teachers in post in their regions, and also seek their support in helping us evaluate the programme this year.

We would like to thank you for your involvement in the STEM programme to date, in particular your help in establishing the networks at the start of this year. Please can you continue to support the networks for the remainder of the academic year. We will continue to be in touch up to the end of the academic year regarding your termly reports.
