Research Project – University of East London

Professor Gerry Czerniawski, from the University of East London, has asked for support in an international survey being carrying out around school-based mentors and their CPD needs:

So much of the work that teachers in schools carry out to support their colleagues goes unrecognised – particularly their work with student/trainee teachers and the support they give to their more qualified colleagues.   Our research is looking into championing the work these school-based colleagues do and seeking out what professional learning/CPD activities they value and what support they require in their work, specifically, as teacher educators. Drawing on your experience and contacts, I would therefore like to ask you for help in this international survey.   On behalf of the International Forum for Teacher Educator Development (InFo-TED) we are conducting an international survey on the professional learning needs of school-based teacher educators.

Where possible, please can I ask for your help in sharing with your networks: the link to the survey is:  https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QP937LM
