How schools make the most of their apprenticeship levy
From the National College of Education :
We're extending an invitation to you, your Executive/Senior Leadership Team, School Business Manager and CPD Co-ordinator to join us for an inspiring webinar with Crofty Multi Academy Trust CEO Simon Hague, BASIC Coaching Method Founder Andy Buck and Teaching Walkthrus Co-founder Tom Sherrington.
Approximately £7m per month is being returned to HMRC in unspent Apprenticeship Levy that could be used for CPD. Many school leaders are unaware that they already contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy and could be using it to develop the talents of their staff.
On Wednesday 12th May, between 17:00 and 18:00, we're hosting a free webinar that will explore apprenticeships for school staff and how to use the Levy effectively within Schools, Trusts and Local Authorities. We'll discuss how the Levy can support individuals and organisational goals specifically tailored to schools, using a range of programmes by the National College of Education.
The National College of Education’s innovative programmes have been designed to equip learners at all levels with the knowledge and tools to face modern challenges. We're excited about the opportunities ahead of us, contextualised in the South West of England, which brings its own joys and unique challenges and we look forward to speaking to you further about it.
We'll cover:
- What is the Apprenticeship Levy?
- How can it support the professional development strategy of a school, trust or workforce?
- Types of apprenticeship available
- Q&A
