The DfE's EdTech Demonstrator programme will provide peer-led advice and training to help schools and colleges use technology to support remote teaching and improve their digital capability. The reach of this programme will be expanded over the coming weeks, and schools and colleges can now register their interest in receiving support here: https://edtech-demonstrator.
The two 'Edtech Demonstrator Schools' in SW England are:
Broadclyst Community Primary School (Cornerstone Academy Trust) has been selected as one of the schools that will be delivering the programme. BCPS, along with the other EdTech Demonstrators, will provide support and training to other schools in the region from this week and helping set up digital education platforms, which at this time of school closures will support schools in delivering home learning. The South West also offers Digital Learning Cornwall (operating within Aspire Academy Trust) who has been offering bespoke and scheduled CPD and consultation across MATs and primary schools for a number of years. Their focus is always on streamlining EdTech processes; knowing that staff need quick-to-access, efficient workflows that can be utilised swiftly by typical primary education staff.
